TECHNICAL RIDER (3-PIECE BAND)

This rider is designed to ensure a high-quality listening experience suitable for original World Blues material blending blues, rock, jazz, gospel and roots influences.
1. STAGE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum stage size:
4m width x 3m depth
Stage plot (from audience perspective):
Stage Right – Bass (amp + DI)
Center – Lead Vocal + Guitar
Upstage Center – Drums
Stage Left – Lead Vocal + Guitar Guitar amp (if separated from vocal mic position)
Clean, stable stage surface required.
Minimum 3 power outlets across stage (drum area, bass area, guitar area).

Total: 7–8 channels
Professional-grade dynamic microphones preferred (e.g. Beta 52, SM57, SM58 or equivalent).
3. MONITORING
Minimum 3 monitor wedges (separate mixes preferred):
Mix 1 – Lead Vocal / Guitar
Mix 2 – Bass
Mix 3 – Drums
Clear vocal presence in all mixes is essential.
If venue provides in-ear monitoring, please confirm in advance.
4. FRONT OF HOUSE
Professional PA system appropriate for venue size.
Experienced FOH engineer preferred.
If venue does not provide engineer, please inform in advance.
System must support dynamic range and clarity suitable for blues-oriented performance with strong vocal presence.
5. BACKLINE
Band will provide:
• Guitar amplifier
• Bass amplifier (small/medium rig)
• Snare + cymbals (if confirmed in advance)
Venue to provide (unless otherwise agreed):
• 4–5 piece drum kit including:
Kick drum
Snare stand
1–2 rack toms
Floor tom
Hi-hat stand
3 cymbal stands
Drum stool
Please confirm drum kit specifications at least 7 days prior to show.
6. SOUND CHECK
Minimum 45 minutes soundcheck required.
60 minutes preferred for optimal balance.
7. HOSPITALITY (Basic)
• 3–4 hot meals or catering
• Water on stage
• Secure space for personal belongings
• Parking for 1 vehicle
